Illustration created for a client's game. The world in which the game takes place is a fantastical cross between late Medieval and mid-Industrial time periods. Technologically, they're in approximately the mid-14th century – they're just figuring out how to reliably make steel, and their architecture is still mostly wood, brick, and stone. But they recently figured out a "disruptive technology" - one simple magical principle, somewhat similar to the internal combustion engine, that changes everything, that has hurled their entire civilization into the mid-19th century.
It was a fun to create!
